As a european citizen how do I get a NIE in Mallorca
To get a NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjero) in Mallorca, Spain, follow these steps:
1. Make an appointment (cita previa) ( We can help with that ) :
- Visit the Spanish Police website (sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es)
- Select "Mallorca" and "Solicitud NIE"
2. Required documents:
- Form EX-15 ( ( click here to download ) (completed and signed)
- Original passport and photocopy
- Proof of reason for requesting NIE (work contract, property purchase, etc.)
- Proof of payment of the fee (Form 790, around ?10)
- 2 recent passport-size photos
