Here's a step-by-step guide to getting a NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjero) in Mallorca as a Greek citizen:
1. Required Documents:
- Valid passport and a photocopy
- Completed EX-15 ( ( click here to download ) form
- Proof of reason for requesting NIE (work contract, property purchase, etc.)
- Sometimes, proof of address in Mallorca
- Two recent passport-size photos
2. Process:
a) Book an appointment (cita previa) ( We can help with that ) at:
- National Police Station (Policía Nacional)
- Visit the website: sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es
b) As an EU citizen, you may need to register on the EU Citizens Registry (Registro de Ciudadanos de la UE) if staying longer than 3 months
