As a european citizen how do I get a NIE numbe in Mallorca
To get a NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjero) number in Mallorca, Spain, follow these steps:
1. Required Documents:
- Valid passport and a copy
- Two recent passport-size photos
- Completed EX-15 ( ( click here to download ) form
- Proof of reason for requesting NIE (work contract, property purchase, etc.)
- Proof of address in Mallorca
- Payment of the fee (around ?10-12)
2. Process:
a) Make an appointment (cita previa) ( We can help with that ) :
- Visit the National Police website (sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es)
- Select "Mallorca" and "Solicitud NIE"
b) Visit the Immigration Office (Oficina de Extranjería):
